The Prevost ATU M2585203 Filter Regulator combines two essential compressed-air treatment functions into one compact assembly: filtering incoming compressed air and maintaining a controlled downstream operating pressure.

This is Prevost’s larger 1/2" FNPT high-flow filter regulator, making it a strong fit for garage and shop air systems where maintaining airflow is important. With a rated flow capacity of 159 CFM, it can be installed upstream of your piping, hose reels, and pneumatic equipment without introducing the restriction you would typically see from a smaller point-of-use regulator.

Filtration and Pressure Regulation in One Unit

Compressed air can carry particulate contamination and liquid condensate through the piping system. The ATU M2585203 uses a 25-micron filter element to capture larger solid contaminants while its integrated bowl collects separated condensate.

From there, the built-in regulator allows you to control the pressure supplied downstream rather than relying solely on compressor tank pressure. Prevost integrates the filter, regulator, pressure gauge, and condensate collection into a single assembly, reducing the number of separate components and fittings required in your air-treatment system.

High-Flow Design for Garage and Shop Air Systems

The integrated filter provides 25-micron particulate filtration to help remove larger solid contamination from the compressed-air supply.

Prevost uses a sintered bronze filtration element along with mechanical separation to help collect particulate contamination and liquid condensate before it travels farther downstream. Collected condensate can then be removed using the filter’s manual drain.

For a garage air system, this makes the filter regulator an effective first stage of air treatment before your compressed air reaches hose reels, fittings, and pneumatic equipment.

Important: A 25-micron filter regulator is not a replacement for a refrigerated air dryer, desiccant dryer, or fine coalescing filter. Applications such as automotive refinishing, paint spraying, or other processes requiring extremely dry and finely filtered compressed air may require additional downstream air treatment.
