It’s basically two of the Sub 6’s stacked on top of each other in one box. When we’re talking about the ideal low-frequency extension for your \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/dynaudio-core-studio-monitors\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eCore\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e or \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/dynaudio-lyd-studio-monitors\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eLYD\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e speakers, we’re talking about this big boy.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eI have two of these in the Yarn building garage - that space is roughly 1200 sq ft. It sounds stupid to have two of these in that space, but I’m not doing it to double the output; I’m doing it for more coverage and to fill the room a little bit better. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eThis Sub has (4) four 9” woofers, so 36” of excursion for air movement. It plays down to 15 Hz with a 6dB roll-off at 13.5Hz. Built inside are dual 500-watt (1,000-watt) Pascal class-D amplifiers. Low bass that is highly accurate. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eUse caution when moving this thing around. It weighs 108lbs, and you’re going to feel every bit of it when you pick it up. What really makes this thing fit the bill for me outside of its amazing output is the finish - the finish is perfect for the garage. It doesn’t look super pretty for the inside of a house, but the crinkle, rhino line-like exterior makes it perfect for our application.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eIf you’re planning to use a digital connection with this, you would simply plug your \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/monoprice-premier-series-xlr-male-to-rca-male\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eRCA to XLR adapter\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e into the SUB OUT connection on the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/osd-audio-nero-wireless-subwoofer-kit\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eOSD Audio Nero\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e and then plug into the Analogue In on the back of the subwoofer. For a cleaner look, the Nero comes with a bracket, so you can mount it on the back of the sub.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eNo real tuning is necessary; just set it up and jam out. It truly is in a league of its own.
