There are different colors, densities, shapes, sizes, surface types, etc. So which one do we buy? I choose these RUPES pads for a few reasons: \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\n\u003cli data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003eThese have been designed and tested specifically to be used with long throw polishers so they can withstand the heat and lateral forces that beat up the structural integrity of the foam.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003eI've been using these since RUPES first launched them, and now the color codes are ingrained in my brain: Blue - Heavy Polishing, Green - Medium, Yellow - 1 Step or Finishing, White - Finishing.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\" data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003eThe Yellow pad is probably the most used pad in my arsenal.
