{"product_id":"collinite-845","title":"Collinite 845 Liquid Wax","description":"\u003ch3 style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eLiquid Wax\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cdiv style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eI'm not exactly sure when I discovered this stuff, but I always end up coming back to it.  This contains the same carnauba found in their 476 paste wax, but in liquid form.  I believe the the liquid aspect of this is from the additional polymers found in it.  I've veered away from this many times in search of better stuff, but I've always come back.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\"\u003eThe combo is to put \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/jescar-power-lock-plus-polymer-paint-sealant\"\u003eJescar \u003cspan\u003ePower Lock Plus\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e as the base layer (polymer sealant) and top that with 2 coats of 845.  This looks better than anything else I've ever used outside of maybe Swissvax Concorso, but lasts a lot longer and is more durable.  \u003cspan\u003eIf you're not wanting to jump into coatings, Power Lock Plus and Collinte 845 is your most legit option. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA couple of things to note:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOne bottle of this should last you the next ten years of your life.  I think I've spilled more on the floor than I've actually used on my cars.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIt will change state depending on the temperature it is stored.  That is normal and fine to use.  Run the bottle under warm water if you need to soften it up.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eHere is how I use it:  \u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply after letting the previous layer of \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/jescar-power-lock-plus-polymer-paint-sealant\"\u003eJescar\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003ePower Lock Plus\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e cure for 3 hours.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply thin layer to the entire vehicle using \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/adams-wax-sealant-hex-grip-applicator-pads\"\u003eAdam's Hex Foam Applicator\u003c\/a\u003e.  The thinner the better. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBy the time you've finished applying, it will be ready to wipe off.  I use the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/high-pile-wax-sealant-removal-towel\"\u003eWax \u0026amp; Sealant Removal Towel\u003c\/a\u003e in the OG store to wipe off.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYou could use something like \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/mckees-37-n-914-rinseless-wash\"\u003eMcKee's 37 N-914\u003c\/a\u003e diluted in a spray bottle as lubrication to aid in wiping. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLet cure overnight.  I like to give it about 12 hours, but that may be more placebo than anything.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eApply another coat using the same process.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThere is one drawback to the product.  You will get a haze that shows up a few days later.  Resist the temptation to wipe it off and scratch all of your hard work.  Wait until you can perform a full wash.  It won't hurt anything even if you take a few days to wash it.  You are simply seeing the oils coming to the surface.  The haze will generally not come back after that.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMaintain using \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/og-drying-aid\"\u003eOG Drying Aid\u003c\/a\u003e as your drying aid.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eI usually get 6-9 months of protection from it.  Assuming you don't have tons of contamination, you can add layers every few months to maintain and help it last much longer.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e","brand":"Obsessed Garage","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":41312684507287,"sku":"CN-No. 845","price":22.1,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1239\/9256\/products\/Q4A2885.jpg?v=1636046121","url":"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/collinite-845","provider":"Obsessed Garage","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
