The trigger is progressive and has an intuitive lock. The speed dial sits right where your thumb is. Griot's Garage really thought about what a good polisher needs to be, and they delivered. For the price, this thing is legit and manages to pretty much match what the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/rupes-lhr15-mark-iii-5-random-orbital-polisher\"\u003eRupes LHR15\u003c\/a\u003e can do, though this isn't quite as smooth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe G15 has a 5-inch backing plate and a 15mm-throw, meaning the rotation of the backing plate axis is 15mm. You use this for larger, flat areas like door panels, hoods, roofs, etc. For tighter areas, you'll want to get the G13 Polisher from Griot's Garage, which has a 3-inch backing plate. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe G15 Polisher is a very good machine and offers exceptional value.
