Their catalog would make your head spin if you didn't know what you were looking for. But I have to say I'm so happy with the on we landed on. It's the best hose reel on earth!\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eThis is a US-made, no-frills, super high-quality, compact reel that fits neatly under the 18\" stainless shelf I've sourced for my on-wall pressure washing solution. This is the smallest option. The others had more features, but they were too bulky or stuck too far off the wall. This one holds up to 100' of 5\/8\" outside diameter pressure washer hose. It's shown with the 100' 5\/8\" OD \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e \u003cspan\u003eHigh-Pressure\u003c\/span\u003e hose. stout compressor with hose reels mounted on all 4 corners of the car.  The problem...I needed to find a suitable reel.  At the 2017 SEMA show I was on a mission to find it.  I was literally speed walking the sister show to SEMA called AAPEX.  It was there that I found it.  Cox had a rather small booth with a few reels mounted on a cabinet.  They had the traditional Cox solution called P-LP-350.  The reel was great.  I'd found it!  Or so I thought... \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI was also given their roughly 100 page catalog.  So I did what I normally do and started digging into it.  They made what is called an EZ Coil version of the reel that has a much slower retraction than the traditional reel. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI bought a half dozen reels to test out, including the EZ Coil version.  After my initial use, I eventually figured out that I'd really like for the speed and feel of the coiling up of the hose to be a bit more robust.  I have worked with Cox to create a custom reel that has a different spring than what comes in the normal model (EZ P-LP-350).  The model included here is a much different version that you won't find online or at other When I first saw the wire jacket on the cord I instantly thought it wouldn't be very flexible since it's shiny PVC, I was wrong.
