The Kranzle K1322TS Custom Install Solution has become a staple in the car detailing industry and has definitely made its presence known. This setup is not only for commercial use. I also designed it for the regular Joe who wants to clean their car on the weekend or whenever.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eI've been thinking about doing this for as long as I can remember. I've wanted a dedicated wash bay for over 20 years. I thought that would be the most amazing thing in the world to be able to wash cars whenever I want, and not have to drag out a hose every time I wanted to get the job done. Two years ago, I started searching everywhere to find a solution that would not only be suitable but also be amazing. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eThere are a couple of obscure on-wall semi-complete systems out there, but I wanted something better. I knew I'd have to piece it together and build it myself if it was going to check all my boxes. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eAfter beating my head against the wall trying to do this, I ended up choosing the massive Kranzle K165STS (now the KWS700TS) that was on my wall in my dedicated wash bay. Add in tearing the walls apart for bracing and 30A wiring to support 200 lb, boom pole, dozens of tried and failed parts like hoses, wall plates, and quick disconnects, a bunch of Mosmatic parts like buying the wrong boom pole and having to buy a second one; and we are in the $10,000 neighborhood! In other words, very very few people are going to do that all in the pursuit of the amazing result I've been able to obtain. I get that.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eSo here we go...chasing a great solution that checks all the boxes. I get that seeing a photo of this complete and functioning looks easy, but I assure you, it will require more orders of part after part and trip after trip to the hardware store to eventually get this dialed in. This store has given me a platform to channel my obsession and save you the inevitable pain you would need to endure to get this right. But...keep in mind, this system doesn't just magically appear on your wall. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003e\u003cb\u003eInstallation Tips\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e“Custom” is the keyword. It really depends on your needs, the utilities that you’re working with, and how you’re going to have your end solution setup. You really want to get with a plumber if you need to because everything is going to be completely custom for your specific setup in regards to cut lengths and where everything is going to go. This package gets you about 90% of the way there, but that other 10% takes a bit of work to figure out. To give you a head start here are some dimensions for what we have on our wall here: \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\"\u003eOur water outlet is 22.5\" off the ground and 13.5” to the left of the center line. Well, it's versatile. You can use a smaller orifice for high pressure or a 5.0 for lower pressure but more flow. Think of it this way\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003e, the\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003e Kranzle is a Ferrari and the AR is a Corvette. The AR definitely has more output than the Kranzle and will also need a dedicated 20-amp circuit. This pressure washer can do over 2.0 GPM (gallons per minute). That’s just insane. I’m not replacing this for my Kranzle, but I’m not opposed to using this as a backup if something happens to my Kranzle. I’d also say for those of you who are looking to buy a Kranzle and due to supply chain issues can’t get one right away from us, I’d suggest picking up one of these in the interim. \u003cstrong\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNot Built To A Price Point\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis pressure washer wasn’t built to a price point but instead for permanence. If left up to me, I’d make a machine that’ll cost 3,000+ dollars, but I understand a pressure washer in that price range won’t appeal to the masses. Although I have zero interest in appealing to the masses, I believe in the progression philosophy where someone comes in the door at entry-level and works their way up to an ultimate level. This unit is exactly that; a worthy choice of a pressure washer but not one you’re going to have forever.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou’ll wind up keeping this unit for a few years or less, but then you’ll want to upgrade to an \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.obsessedgarage.mom\/products\/ar-blue-clean-ar630-tss-pressure-washer\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eAR630\u003c\/a\u003e or a Kranzle at some point. The beauty of having an install solution is that you can transfer the parts and fittings to your new pressure washer. I’m repeating myself when I talk about longevity, but I want you to understand the vision and motivation behind this thing. The performance is\/was a byproduct of the overall goal.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf there’s anything you’ll see me smile about when it comes to this unit, it’s the performance. We were able to get 2.0+ GPM with a 5.0 orifice nozzle. I’d say this is the sweet spot because that also put us around 700 PSI, which is plenty for car washing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring our testing, we found that we don’t want to run this machine with a 1.1 orifice on the foam cannon; you’ll surely trip your circuit. I used a 1.5 orifice instead with my normal 150 mL of car soap and 600 mL of water dilution in the foam cannon, and we had great foam, but more importantly, we’re running the machine safer. If you have a dedicated 15 or 20-amp circuit, you’d want to run a 1.25. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eInstallation Tips\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e“Custom” is the keyword.
